Here is the most effective, easiest, and fastest method for farming gold:
You need to locate a boss that is near a waypoint area or a spawn area. In this case, we are going to start from the very beginning. If you have just started playing PoE 2, this is going to be the spot, that you will be farming at. If you are on another level, for instance- inferno, you can come here and farm your gold.
As you come at the very beginning, you will see Clearfell. Enter that level and locate the boss. Once you find the boss, you will try to kill him. After you have defeated the boss, you can see all the items that fell onto the ground. You will have to pick them up.
Pick up all the items you can see, because that is what earns you gold later. After picking up the items, go back to the Town. After coming back, all you must do is, identify the items; worth of each item and then sell them.
Again, after you have sold everything, go back to the waypoint, create a new instance on the Clearfell monster level, again repeat the same process as everything is respawned, the boss is respawned, and you are going to get a lot of gold, using which you can buy various gears to level up your skills and characters.
Not only in Clearfell, but you can slay the boss in multiple levels like Ogham, and Vastiri Outskirts and collect loot to get gold.
Additionally, you can buy POE 2 Currency for upgrading your equipment, gear and improving your chances of defeating difficult bosses who have more loot. PoE 2 currency is used for various functions like upgrading skills, upgrading the equipment of your character.
Just get the LOOT, sell it, respawn, get the LOOT AGAIN, sell it, and CONTINUE.
Here are certain farms you could be using for your progression from Act 1 to Act 3 whether you are stuck somewhere and need to build something, whether you want early farm shards, GOLD, gears, orbs, or gems.
Step 1:
Forgotten riches in Mausoleum of the Praetor:
Once inside this level, look for the room with a statue and twin coffins, there is a checkpoint nearby. Next, on one of the pillars in this room, there is a hidden switch that you need to activate. Once activated, the game will reveal hidden stairs.
Going down those stairs, you will find two golden chests with 400 gold. Loot everything and teleport back to the main city. Now go to Teleport, go to the Mausoleum of the Praetor, and generate a new instance. Again, repeat the same process and farm this place as many times as you like.
Step 2:
If you are stuck in step 2 and are not able to slay the final boss and need to rebuild your character quickly, then this place is best for gold farming, gems, orbs, and much more.
You must learn and equip the Level 1 Unearth Skill. Teleport to The Lost City, and explore that area thoroughly until you find the spot where there is the huge Scarab Boss. You must locate and activate the checkpoint nearby, there is always one close to the scarab. Defeat the boss and collect the loot.
The most important part, use the Unearth skill on the corpse of the boss to remove it. Then simply die and respawn. When you respawn, you will notice that the Scarab is alive again, allowing you to repeat the process. A nice bonus is that the boss will have a fresh set of skills each time, adding variety to your farming sessions. Keep farming here as much as you want to optimize your build and take on the game.
Step 3:
Step 3 does have plenty of locations that you can farm, but here we are going to focus on The Venom Crypts. You cannot directly teleport to it. So first go to the Jungle Ruins, and make a new instance. Once entered in the new instance of Jungle Ruins, you can jump into The Venom Crypts from there and make loot there.
Note – Creating a new instance in these locations, will get you the gold that you are expecting.
